If you are not looking for such a real-time collaboration tool, I suggest you and your friend work on different parts of this project, such as different sprites in it, then you can merge your sprites into one project, using the export/import functions of sprites.

Embedding an iframe is good enough for “.html”, right?

For .exe, as @jeffreyrb03-gmail said, we don’t support compiling our extension into exe, nor does it work offline. However, you can create a simple exe program that contains an HTML element, then embed the CreatiCode project inside that element, right?

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Looks like this feature is a bit too complicated. We’ll keep the strict requirements for now until we find a better solution.

@011830-0a42ef84 not just hats, could be anything like glasses too, but shirts and pants will be a little harder because I’ll need to add animations of moving to go along with the character so that you don’t see the player’s leg going through the pants instead of the pants looking like they’re attached to the player

@jeffreyrb03-gmail okay so my current plan is to have it write to the sheet in a specific cell and use an extension in sheets to either copy the raw data (one cell for it all, using join with and some stuff to prevent the data from escaping, if you want to know what I mean then ask) to one cell, and have the user just read all the data and format it on the client, or I can have the user post data to a random place in a receiving sheet and the extension copy’s all the data that the client posted into the sheet

To answer your question, I’m pretty sure you can see anyone’s score. Like mine is 0 and the sun god’s is 1. And if you’re referring to reputation on the forum, then you can see it just by clicking on a user’s forum profile. The forum and the site are pretty seperate and don’t/can’t use info from each other except for this forum making you use your CreatiCode account to make a forum account( although I feel it’d make sense if they were just together to begin with/merged but they do their job so its ok).

You can call it that, but the real reason is that the Scratch Cat is copyrighted, and it is not part of the open-source Scratch project. So we can not reuse that cat in our platform as the default sprite.

There’s also a bug in the sandbox mode (which may also occur in endless mode as well) that the detection indicators (“?” and “!”) will appear even though the bot is invisible. However, I am trying to fix this bug.

Problem confirmed. It seems this is because this project is getting too big. It is over 145M when exported. You might need to consider using smaller clips or fewer sounds.

@c I’ll go fix that, I have the default message setup to notify some people of reports and must of messed it up in the project side

editing this cus I fixed it in like 4 minutes, it seems that the only way you could of gotten that is if it saw your user id as blank, for my alt I have a placeholder setup since I haven’t used it in a while so I haven’t gone to get its user id to set it. I left the place for the user id blank, so I just tested and if the user id is nothing it’ll detect your user id as being for my alt, I have made it so it has a dummy value, but it’s weird that it ever triggered since it would require your user id to be nothing.

Something else, I didnt realize you could make a world without a password and name, I thought I probably would of thought about that but I r have realized I didnt, I jsut made a world manually (via editing the sheets data) to have one

edit 2: I’ve also made it so it trims world names so you can’t make worlds with spaces/whitespace for names

@the_true_odst you use the intended and actual as a back bone, for the gravity you just set the intended x and intended y values at the changing, your gravity was mainly change y by 2 every frame and then change y by negative 2 to go down (from what I remember), you can set the intended y speed to 2 every frame (you dont need to every frame but it would work) and then the same with negative, you wouldn’t use 2 because multiplayer blocks make sprites move slower than if you moved them yourself so you have to retest it

basically, you replace all change y by blocks in your gravity with set intended y speed to a value and test for what they should be

@the_true_odst in the files app for your chromebook make a new folder, then make three text folders, make sure you have show file extensions on, and rename one to index.html, another to style.css, and another to script.js, I would recommend for this initial setup and for learning the basics of js very quickly, ask an ai about it, Im not saying you should have an ai make it all, but ask it for stuff like what a draw loop is or when to use multiple js files, I think an ai could better explain what Im trying to say in context of a chromebook

CreatiCode is built on top of MIT Scratch, which is open source. If you search online, you should notice there are many simiar sites that are “remix” of MIT Scratch in a similar way.

Our goal is to allow students who are already familiar with Scratch to use additional blocks (like 3D, AI, 2D physics, multiplayer) so they can build more engaging projects, without having to learn a completely new user interface or block syntax. The AI tools for generating images and coding help are also provided for similar purposes.
