Anyone having issue with sound blocks not working?

The sound blocks are working normally. Can you post a project link?

@info-creaticode The stage sound blocks are not working in the Stage. They work for regular sprites. Did some troubleshooting to pinpoint what/where it was happening

@c Not sure exactly, but they just simply won’t run in the Stage for any new projects i’ve made. They would run anywhere else.
BUT
They work in the state of This New Ocean bc there’s only 3 songs out. For the WOC song database I’m making, I have over 30 in the stage, and it just won’t run any sound blocks there unless it’s in a sprite.
Maybe it’s the # of sounds that’s stopping it, I dunno.

Why not make a fallback sprite? Just in case anything like that happens again. And maybe like- have the sprite only show to you if it’s your username, AND the fallback sprite is active.It may be difficult to code, though.

@c I could, yes. But the fact that it will take a while does not really make it worth doing.

@sirbots Well you could also just directly copy the code to the new sprite, and then put it back when it’s fixed, right?

The sound blocks work in the stage as well. It might be some other issues. Can you post a project link?

@info-creaticode They work with I think with a max of 10 sounds, any more than that and it does not work. Also can’t as it is not finished.

You mean it does not play sounds that are longer than 10 seconds?
Do you have a project for us to look into?

@info-creaticode No, a maximum of 10 sounds total, without taking into consideration the duration of each individual sound. Let me make a copy of the project, and I will send it over.

Problem confirmed. It seems this is because this project is getting too big. It is over 145M when exported. You might need to consider using smaller clips or fewer sounds.
