      I am going to be offline more than what I used to in CreatiCode. The reason why is because this site isn’t for me anymore and I’ve found more advanced gaming sites like Flowlab.io. Occasionally I will check back on my account and maybe edit some of my games. It’s been fun being here and I thank you all for the fun time.

      Announcement

      Hello everyone! Welcome to the first-ever Freestyle Gaming Creaticode Competition!

      In this challenge, you, the contestants, will be making a Creaticode game!


      Requirements:

      • Must be a playable & readable game

      • Instructions on how to play are not required, but recommended.

      • Only one game may be submitted

      • Must be 2D; top-down, side-view, and in-depth games are allowed (in-depth meaning layers to make 2D look 3D)

      • Submit your games through here (or another platform/site as requested)

      • Options for games are: Minigame, story, survival, escape room, puzzle, defense, platformer, simulator, tyсoon (no “click the object” games), etc.

      • For the best playing experience, we request that the games be 20+ minutes long to play


      The deadline will be October 30th!

      Only the top 3 games will win! Do your best and work hard! I wish good luck to everyone who participates!

      @dreamsmp_luck I figured out the reason “Greener” doesn’t work. It’s because you didn’t add the UI sprite which is the base for all general gameplay. You need to have that

    • Bot Test update log :D

      Oh man, I’m so glad to announce that after almost a month, Bot Test has officially reached BETA VERSION!

      Updates for Ver. 1.0-1.1 will be listed here:

      • Sandbox mode is added, along with an early access gun in the sandbox (press Z)
      • free enemy spawning in sandbox mode
      • New enemy is added: ranged
        – Ranged may be nerfed to 0.5dmg instead of 1.0dmg.
      • Endless now has two modes, new version and old version
        – The new version features everything added in beta and continuing
        – Old version will remain the OG 0.9 version of the game
      • Added sounds for many of the actions that occur in the game
      • Added foreground for seeable movement
      • Decreased the play size for no movement bugs
      • Updated the main screen with more buttons 😄
      • Casual and multiplayer is being made and is already a button in the main screen
      • bug fix for the indications on bots when they are hidden
      • increased play size with limitations for no movement bugs
      • added a locator compass for easier enemy location
      • Two movement keys gives you speed boost (bc I’m too lazy to spend an hour trying to fix this “bug”)
      • Added sounds for every action (except walking, which may or may not be added)
      • new weapon in sandbox
      • main menu music
      • Fixed New version
      • Ranged nerfed from 1 dmg to 0.5 dmg
      • Fixed the health on the second bot

      I think I know what he is referring to. I click certain blocks, and everything does freeze and all the blocks don’t work anymore. I try to press the flag and nothing happens either (also the flag does indicate that it has been clicked). I think it usually happens if you try to click the blocks inside the block storage and not the editing mode.

      Also, when I’m playing the games, I’ve realized that the “when I start as clone” does not highlight when I do an action that’s supposed to highlight it, even though it still works. It does highlight, however, when I click it inside the editing mode.

      I plan on making custom variable UIs if I have the time, right now I’m making a fishing game (similar to Roblox Fisch) with a friend.

      @info-creaticode I fixed it. Right now they target the fastest since I’ve learned how to do that. How do you make them target the first enemy? Also, is there anything I can add to make it smoother? This game is planning on being a wave game and there are only 3 units right now for development examples.

      Edit: Click the white circle and type “/give” in the upper left for extra money. This is mainly to see what the revolver does.

      Edit2: I’m also planning on adding an auto-wave start
      Edit3: I made the optional wave start, but idling the characters is a bit difficult with the way I created the game. They do manage to kill the first enemy before the others spawn, so they idle the entire time and don’t shoot, so I had to time it. I think I found a way to get around it though. (Edit4: I did manage to fix it)

      Edit5 🙏 : I’m also going to make an upgrader for the units along with placing multiples of the same unit.

      note: you may need to click the flag a couple of times because the units or “start wave” don’t always work properly.

      What do you need to do to get the “mod helper” tag and rank? I’ve been on this platform for a while now helping and posting (in) the forum. I’ve listed some important bugs and suggested a few ideas.

      On the topic of this, I’ve noticed that I can no longer upload screenshots or images on here. Is this a bug, or did you remove this feature from the amount of spam/inappropriate content?

      There should be an option where the screen can shake
      blocks should include these:

      shake screen: it shakes screen until manually stopped

      There should be an option where you can see the previous costume’s position on the costume you are creating, and maybe another layer before that.

    • Help and suggestions for my 3D skate game -- Skate Free

      I’m making a new game called “Skate Free,” which will have a lot of variables for tricks and stunts, and I’m a bit confused on how 3D works

      Here are my issues:

      • The impulse block doesn’t seem to work when I press it. I’m not sure how it works, but I set the Force to 100 with the direction and relative point set to 100 on Z

      • I used code {forever set “SkateZ” to [Z position]}, with “SkateZ” being a variable. I used {Change Z by 100}, and the SkateZ variable went to 100, but when the skateboard went back down, the SkateZ variable didn’t change.

      • this is also an issue when the skateboard falls off a platform. The SkateZ variable doesn’t change at all, but the skateboard’s position on the Z axis is supposed to change when it’s falling.

      • When the skateboard jumps onto the green block, there’s a chance that the skateboard will flip and rotate weirdly. If it does manage to land straight up, the skateboard will rotate on the ground automatically. This is an issue for me.

      • Can you also tell me when I do a fixed camera angle (so it follow and object), how do you make the camera’s follow speed delayed? I mean this as in when you rotate the object, the camera scrolling is slower than the rotation speed of the object.


      I also have some suggestions for character animations:

      • I see you’ve added a skate-crouch and skate-stand, but could you make a skate-jump, skate-push, skate-stand-to-crouch, skate-trip, skate-crouch-to-stand, and skate-grab? Here’s what I mean:

        • Skate-jump: I mean this by, instead of a regular big-full-jump, it does the same action but with a more slanted landing since the skateboard is a thin object.

        • Skate-stand-to-crouch and skate crouch-to-stand: It would just be like the normal crouch-to-stand and stand-to-crouch, but more slanted since it’s a skateboard

        • Skate-grab: This is where the person would do a grabbing motion for the skateboard. This would help with falling and being more centered.

        • Skate-push: When the skateboard moves, the person riding the skateboard will push the ground to accelerate the skateboard. The animation would also have to go down a bit to push off the ground since it’s being lifted by the skateboard.

        • Skate-trip: When the player hits a wall while skating (or other objects) There should be an animation where the skater loses their balance, but regains it.


      I also have an idea for trick animations, but I would want to have an “ok” signal before doing so.

      @jeffreyrb03-gmail I read everything you did and it is a lot better than what I’ve done lol. I have one problem though, the units won’t fire at “bolt” after they killed “basic” and “speed.” I think that might be on you because mine works fine when I place all my units down.

      Have any unit/enemy suggestions? If so explain them pls I would love to make them.

    • Updating an object's X, Y, and Z directions in a 3D scene using variables

      – I want to remain keeping this project a secret because I feel this is going to be my biggest project. –

      When an object falls, how would you continuously update their X, Y, and Z directions and put it into variables so other sprites would know their direction?

      I tried asking the Creaticode AI, but it kept saying to measure the direction variable by using another direction variable that doesn’t use the actual direction, which doesn’t make much sense to me


      Also, I would like to know how to measure the speed on an object in 3D. Thank you
