    • Removing Broadcasts

      Since there is a feature that removes variables that are no longer needed in the script or accidentally created, can we do the same for broadcasts? There are many times where I end up making a broadcast that I no longer need because there is usually a better method.

      Thank you.

      @info-creaticode How strict is this AI moderation system? The new game I’m making (remastering my old Undertale game) will contain minor gore visuals that isn’t suitable for <13 of age but is for >13.

      (Also, the original Undertale is E10+ for its maturity rating, and I’m adapting to the style of it)

      @info-creaticode @dezz-nuts If they’re saying they want the ring invisible, they can use the ghost function to make it invisible while still making the “touching sprite” function work.

    • RE: block request when I start clone advance

      @dezz-nuts What you an do is use a variable instead of the built-in clone ID system.

      For example:

      set [variable] to 0;
      repeat [number] times {
      change [variable] by 1;
      create clone of myself;
      }

      Afterwards, you can say:

      when I start as clone {
      if ([var] = 1) {
      [action]
      } else if ([var] = 2) {
      [action]
      } …
      }
      and so on

      If you don’t understand I can simplify it

      @dezz-nuts Use an extra sprite to detect if the one you want to keep in the area is touching it.

      For example:

      if [sprite] is touching [object] {
      go to x, y
      // stop all movement code
      }

      @info-creaticode The first option is interesting. Here is the set-up I have right now

      (Things are heavily subjected to change)

      23561768-36e1-49b5-a568-e7c5e40e54ff-This is sped up.gif

      All of this took ~500 blocks of code

      So what you’re describing is basically numerical characterization? e.g. 1 = can walk through, 2 = wall, 3 = destination, etc.

      2D pathfind
      makes the sprite path find around another sprite until it touches the sprite it’s pathfinding to, useful for making better chase games.

      I agree with this a lot, mainly since the new game I’m making has a lot of walls. I have to make pathfinder nodes (I’ve used ~15 nodes just for one thing out of possibly 9 different segments so each clone can navigate to different rooms) so my clones can figure out where to go. This is really time consuming and takes a lot of blocks (I barely have anything done and already one of the sprites have roughly 800 blocks in it and most of that comes from AI navigation).

    • Regarding Creaticode's new "13+ Projects" feature

      What is the range when you mean “13+”? May it include themes that are or may be mature, with minor/moderate themes of blood, minor language (like stupid, crаp), and/or cartoon violence?

      Additionally, I suggest that games like Plants vs. Zombies (PvZ) in Creaticode better fit the 9+ rating (or lower than 12) due to their unrealistic nature and arguably humorous scenes.

      I grew up with themes that would be considered 13+ when I was younger than what was required. I still assume those themes would fit a “younger audience”?

      –

      Could you grant categories of safe (themes that fit all ages), moderate (themes that fit 13+, as you’ve established), and restricted (not allowed to publish onto your platform)?

      There’s a person who made a game that tries to get your location.

      This is the game:

      https://play.creaticode.com/projects/68dfd705b8fda4381ff74086

      This is a comment that peaked my interest that I think @info-creaticode will find interesting.

      “Basically, they create a block that does something like this, // This block will get the user’s current latitude and longitude // and then fetch detailed geo information, storing it in ‘myGeoData’ table. get geo info for latitude latitude longitude longitude and write into table myGeoData // After this block runs, your ‘myGeoData’ table will be filled //with properties like ‘country’, ‘city’, ‘state’, etc., and their values. You can find this, by inspecting the code and finding the blocks, those are the blocks trying to obtain your location.”

      @dreamsmp_luck Here is the story for my first music account, TheNicknameGov:

      TheNicknameGov’s universe story –

      Around 15-20 million years ago, there was nothing, not even what is defined as “The Concept of Nothingness”. Inside that nothingness, there lived a being. A single entity devoid of anything. This figure goes by Nullixety. Nullixety was an anti-creator. Creators are people that control the world and shape it how they want it to be. Nullicety is the opposite of that, the original anti-creator, the One Before All.
      I, a simple orange and white striped cat, was born on a farm floating in the middle of nowhere a couple million years before the big bang. It was a peaceful life, chasing butterflies and such. But then there came what appeared to be a wormhole. Of course, my curiosity got the better of me, and I investigated. The wormhole sucked me into it and transported me throughout the multiverse. I landed on this invisible barrier on the other side. I couldn’t see, hear, or feel anything. And then there came Nullixety. Its glitchy, non-textured form appeared before me. I didn’t know who it was at the time, but I would soon learn that the only reason why I became the debatably strongest person in my universe was because of it.
      Nullixety trained me, showed me the ways of Null, Space, and Time. He gifted me with a laser cannon capable of potentially doing the power of 5000 black holes. I’ve only been able to do level 47 because of the backlash from the power. For millenniums, Nullicety trained me, trained me until what you guys call “The Big Bang” happened. Sadly, Nullixety “died”, since null can’t live in something. I carried on its legacy, but instead of destroying, I created, and protected.
      During my very boring roaming throughout the universe, I encountered other cats. I recruited them for my team and became good friends with them. We played, trained, explored, for thousands of more years before these other animals invaded. They were Universal Dogs, and we didn’t know what to do. They blasted us out of our realm that we sought to protect. Our loss was devastating, and we lost fellow cats…
      I wasn’t done, I wasn’t going to put up with this. I used my laser cannon, something I rarely use blindly. They were wiped out in almost an instant with level 10. The rest retreated, threatening to return with more powerful forces.
      As of today, we still are at war, but the dogs have been getting less and less powerful, and we have grown stronger.

      I am making TheTrueOne’s and TheAncientOne’s stories.

      @sirbots I mean this as in an extra button that brings you to the Anomaly index.

      This could be divided into level sections (e.g. the anomalies in the house, and the other ones in the others)

      What could happen is that you could show a picture of the anomaly, description and frequency. This would make it easier for newcomers to detect anomalies, so that they know what they are looking for.

      If not, you could make it even more vаgue by just giving a description of what they look like and/or other things.
