Autoplay on project embeds doesnt work yet
-
btnOptions=none does work and that’s awesome but I have a new problem, the project doesn’t auto play when I include
autoPlay=true
. I want to remove the top bar and it works but it also makes the user unable to run the project, since it doesn’t automatically run the more complex features like Widgets and 3D blocks. -
Can you try to open the attached file in the chrome browser? It does run the project automatically.

@info-creaticode
I tried it and the widget buttons I put don’t automatically appear still:
I have to press the green flag to get this:
-
@info-creaticode Is it working on your end? Perhaps it may be something with my device, I’ll test it on a Windows by hopefully tommorow.
-
Can you share the link to the page you are testing this with?
-
@info-creaticode Got it, the one from earlier: https://cdn.creaticode.com/scratch-gui-projects/forum/e38e2373-f86b-4930-88ab-ca2e69dd93b3.html .
-
This one is not auto starting. We will look into why.
-
Can you please try to test it again?
-
@info-creaticode I tried myself, it didn’t auto start.
-
If you open this link,
https://cdn.creaticode.com/scratch-gui-projects/forum/e38e2373-f86b-4930-88ab-ca2e69dd93b3.html
what do you get? This is what we are seeing:
-
@jd131111 I see that without any buttons.
-
@info-creaticode That might’ve been confusing, I meant that I don’t see Multiplayer, Singleplayer, and Exit Game.
-
Are you running on chrome? A laptop, iPad or a Chromebook?
-
@info-creaticode It works! Thank you! I notice it uses autoPlay=true which I’ll make sure to put back into my game, and it works with btnOptions=none.
-
@info-creaticode
Isn’t a Chromebook considered a laptop? -
@c It is but it’s very different from the average laptop, considering the inability to use .exe files and you have less options for things than a Windows or Mac. When it comes to like debugging stuff and all, it makes sense to have Chromebook in its own category I guess.
-
@jeffreyrb03-gmail I have a Chromebook of my own without Linux, if I turn on dev mode will it allow Linux to be enabled or still no? I can tell you the Chromebook type if you need it
-
Developer mode requires a factory reset in the process.
Also you can already access Linux in Settings > About Chrome/Device.You only need Developer Mode to download any .apk.
-
@c no, because it says “Linux is not available with this device”
