Weird comment glitch on CreatiCode user's projects
-
I commented on one of this user’s projects: https://play.creaticode.com/users/Aq759fYKjFR5L5Si6 . And then that comment I made on one of their projects appeared on every single project they own. I wrote “how do I play the game”, and then I saw it posted to every single one of their projects.
Does this like have to do with the language of the user being Chinese or something? Because I tested this by making a comment on one of Tyller’s projects, and then that same comment was only on the project I commented on and not every single other project he made.

@jeffreyrb03-gmail
It’s a huge bug. I’ve had it too. -
@cattyplayzy yeah, I feel like CreatiCode always gets super buggy sometimes, and other times, the tab literally takes up 1.6 gigabytes or more of memory! That’s when I’m working on YOUniverse3D usually, because my game is super computation heavy at the start like with it having to parse and interpret an avatar file and soon a world file and other stuff. But even after that’s all done it’ll stay like that and after clicking the green flag a million times.
It was really funny one time where in the console it said something like “Variable something is undifind!” and it made me laugh so hard.

Thanks for reporting. This should definitely not happen. Does the comment disappear when you reload the page? Can you please give us 2 project pages where you see the same duplicate comment?
-
@info-creaticode
It happens randomly. There’s no specific project it occurs on. -
@cattyplayzy
OK. So next time you see that happening on 2 projects, please post them here, so that we can use them to investigate.
-
@info-creaticode
I’m pretty sure you have to post the comment. I’ve tried to debug it across several projects, the user posting is the one that needs to post it. (sad) -
@cattyplayzy
We can’t seem to reproduce it. Can any of you describe the steps you take to make this issue occur? Suc as:
- Comment on user A’s project
- Open another project of user A, and observe the same comment
-
@info-creaticode Ok, I’m gonna do that right now
-
@info-creaticode
typo alertseriously, however.
-
Post a comment on a user’s project.
A. Can be any user. -
Quickly go to another users project.

@info-creaticode Ok this is very weird. It might be an issue with the cache because the issue happened again right now, I didn’t post a comment yet but I saw the comment I posted like an hour or two ago on Tyller’s project was on another on of his projects, but then I did Ctrl+Shift+R to refresh and clear the cache for that page.
The issue is most occuring/prominent on that user I posted.
And I was just going to post how this occured on like every single one of their other projects, but then I did Ctrl+Shift+R and got super confused because someone else’s comment seems to be on all of their projects:
My original comment doesn’t even show. I’m not sure how this would be fixed, but this is definitely a cache issue -
Thank you. This is helpful. Can you also give us the link to that project?
-
-
So currently we can still see your comment, which is the only comment. If you reload the page, you still see some random comment from other user?
-
@info-creaticode I just went back there, and I can only see my own comment and not the other comment.
But when you go to other projects from this user, my comment is also on them:
(this is on https://play.creaticode.com/projects/ 6654882b234c6a69eff54348)
and now I just did Ctrl+shift+R and I see this:
-
Thanks. It seems the issue is that when you switch to another project, the comments are not refreshed unless you refresh the page. We will look into why this is happening.
-
@info-creaticode Well I do refresh the page but I have to like purge the page. Thanks!
-
@info-creaticode This happened again but it commented twice on the same project:
This person only has one project so this can’t be checked with other projects
it’s here:

Thank you for the information. We are working on improving the comment loading process so it is refreshed automatically.
