@black-cat idk much about star wars, but for the beginning where they like have the yellow text in space (βin a galaxy far far awayβ) you could use some 3d text blocks that are like a gold yellow and Arial font, and are a bit tilted, and go up in an animation to show more of that text.

@jeffreyrb03-gmail That would be niceβ¦

Hm?

@luna Can you help me?
-
@black-cat you shouldnβt expect help when it comes to such a vague idea and without saying please. Besides, what do you even need help with? Just make your own ideas and since its a remake then just make sure itβs a good one that follows the original trilogy for the most part. When it comes to the blocks, just use the blocks that you want to do what you want, and if youβre stuck on that then me or other people can help you with the code, but just asking for ideas isnβt really gonna work, because we arenβt here to make ideas for you. Also, CreatiCode already told you to just use their assistant. I personally wouldnβt if i were you though because I think using AI in a creative work (like your game) to handle something super big like the story or ideas is just bad because itβs lazy and youβre going to end up with an uncreative story with many annoying overused cliches and tropes. AI is somewhat okay for art, but if possible just use real art made by humans.

@jeffreyrb03-gmail Ok! Thatβs all I needed to hear. Thanks for explaining

Can sombody make a top down stoormtrooper? Iβd like it to look like:
Ill add you to credits. Please and thank you.

We recommend every student learn to use AI for coding assistance or generating images for the following reasons:
-
In the future, everyone needs to know how to work with AI and learn new things with AIβs help. It will be one of the most important skills, which requires creativity, good prompting skills, and critical thinking. Therefore, learning to code or generate art with AIβs help is good practice for that skill, even though not everyone using CreatiCode will become a programmer.
-
Many professional programmers are already using AI assistants in their daily work. It is not an act of βlazinessβ. Rather, it is about letting AI do something that you already know, which frees you up to do more challenging or creative tasks.
-
AI is a βmultiplierβ, which means the quality of AIβs output is directly determined by the skill level of the person using it. For people with no programming knowledge, they can only produce average-quality code, which may not be the optimal solution. However, people with strong coding skills can use AI to produce code of much higher quality. Therefore, using AI tools does not mean we donβt have to learn anymore.

Yes, but AI isnβt perfect and cannot provide SVG images with groups, shadows, and a lot of complex elements, making it difficult to edit. This is why a human is needed to create it.
^^ oops sorry-β¦ but I absolutely agree.
-
Sure. No one is saying AI will do everything for us. There are still tons of work for humans to do. All that we are saying is to learn to use AI for tasks for which AI is already very good at.

Oh, alright. -
Gotta agree.
-
@info-creaticode I agree but I want to make what I mean clearer because of how it may have came off. Iβm not saying AI is something we should just not use, and sometimes it is lazy to use it. I like to use AI when Iβm lazy and just donβt feel like answering a detailed question on my school homework, and I admit thatβs lazy. I do think that learning to use and prompt AI is going to be a somewhat needed skill sooner or later, and teaching kids to use it is important
But Iβve used AI before in (basically) professional programming, because I was extremely stuck and didnβt know some syntax, and I admit that doing that is resourceful and finding a way to solve a tough issue. I agree with you on the three points for the most part, but number two isnβt entirely right to me:
Many professional programmers are already using AI assistants in their daily work. It is not an act of βlazinessβ. Rather, it is about letting AI do something that you already know, which frees you up to do more challenging or creative tasks.
The first sentence is true, but I think the rest isn't always the case. Yes, using stuff like AI art so that you spend more time making quality code and story than worrying about art and game assets is convenient and useful, but I just don't think it should be used too much with like a storyline itself. Like I said before, AI uses annoying overused tropes and likes to correct what you say if it disagrees so I just don't recommend it for making stories, but using it to flesh out ideas I'd say is helpful too. -
You are right in that AI shouldnβt be overused. AI usually only produces common or average results. To create unique projects that stand out, it still needs creativity from the author.
However, this still heavily depends on the studentsβ own skill level. For students who struggle to create a complete storyline, AI can provide a good starting point. For more advanced students, they would naturally want to use their own ideas instead of AI.

@info-creaticode I understand more now, thank you
