Variable set block sets to Date

The variable set block appears to be setting variables to a date, I can make a demo project though it may just be global as I have cleared cache so not an issue with that and it also happens on my phone, using reduce from here sets it to NaN and change changes it as if it were 0 (and then reduce works), if you use a set variable to block then it will display as if it was a date
