Changing background color in sprite creation
-
Being able to choose a background color for the sprite creation would be really good trying to delete certain pixels that you don’t know where they are. Backgrounds wouldn’t be added to the actual sprite though

Are you referring to the AI tool for generating sprite costumes?
These images do not have backgrounds. Can you explain what you meant by “choose a background”?

@info-creaticode I think he means the blank (the gray white grid) background in the costume editor

@info-creaticode, @Tyller_, yes, that’s what I meant.
I think you should be able to choose a color for that area. That way when someone imports an image in the sprite editor they can see the white surrounding the image that they need to remove. -

Thanks for clarifying. We will add a color picker for the color of the background grid.

@011830-0a42ef84 Turbowarp has the ability to choose between light and dark mode for the background in the costume editor - would this help?

@011830-0a42ef84 It’s not an extension. It’s a feature. IF suggested, it could be implemented into Creaticode - in fact, the ability to change CreatiCode’s theme in general might be a good suggestion.

@mod-squadacademy-1bc96c56 you can suggest that, unless creaticode checks back here and replies then it’ll prolly be added, it’s really easy for suggestions to get added, just make a suggestion and if it could be seen as not that wide use then provide a reason why it’s not a super specific use case

@tyller_ We’ll look into it!
