(3d) Methods to seper individual models of a model that is a collection of multiple models
-
Using CreatiCode only, and not external software or sites, how would you isolate one item in a model set like this? Are there blocks to replace selected areas of a model with empty space, so that with enough tinkering you can just get one model easily? -
We currently don’t have such blocks. Plus, it would be highly inefficient, since you would have to spend the time to download the entire collection, but only using one of them.
A better solution is to use a software like Blender or TinkerCad, which allows you to import the entire collection, then select the model you want to use, and export that one model as a file. Then you can upload that one model file as a community model.

@info-creaticode True, it would be inefficient I suppose, but in terms of it being possible/doable, is it not possible using one of these blocks?
I don’t know how these blocks work exactly, but isn’t it possible to just make empty space using transparent-colored boxes, and then merging/carving those invisible boxes (acting as like an eraser) into or with the object set? From what I’m getting, carving usually removes space in something using another object while merging adds space using an object, so with 4 transparent boxes to act as like psuedo-empty space/ object eraser, placed around the individual object I need, it’s possible to do that? Or still no? -
yes, in theory, the “carve” block would allow you to remove all other models and keep only the model you need. However, it will be extremely slow given the complexity of the existing model collection
