    Prerequisite

    • Working with Blocks
    • Working with Sprites

    Description

The “When this sprite clicked” block is a Hat Block in the Events category. It plays the blocks attached below it when the current sprite is clicked.

    How to Use This Block

The “When this sprite clicked” block runs only when you “click” on the Sprite on Stage.
You need to press down the “left mouse button” https://cdncreaticodecom.b-cdn.net/scratch-gui-projects/forum/a9fbce4e-61be-40d1-9063-0c6ab53353b9.PNG" width="60" style=""> on the visible part of the Sprite.

    If the Sprite is Hidden

The “When this sprite clicked” block will not work when the sprite is hidden, or when you click on any transparent part of a sprite.

    “When stage clicked” Block

The “When stage clicked” block is used for the stage in a similar way. You can find this block in the Events category after you select the stage.

    How It Works

The “When stage clicked” block plays the blocks attached below it when you click anywhere on the stage.
