Hiding unnecessary notifications
-
To reduce the amount of “spam” in the notifications (e.g. mainly the unread tab), I suggest hiding certain notifications that may deem unnecessary to view.
Examples include:
-
“Test” category (including making “test” sections and replying to them)
-
Replying to certain persons (it will only trigger notifications to the people who were replied to)
-
categories tagged “update(s)”
-
“General Discussion” category (if category does not include any tags)
-
Minor edit fixes (if not already. Minor being 50 characters edited/added or less)
More may be added here later on

Unfortunately, we are using the NodeBB project for this forum, which does not support such customized notifications. There are some settings you can change in your own setting page.
