Prerequisite
What is a Backdrop?
The Backdrop is a picture which you can choose to display on your Stage window as a Background.
At a time, only one backdrop can be displayed on the Stage.
The Backdrop cannot be moved (unlike a sprite)
The backdrop cannot move like a sprite, as it is only used as a background image or scene.
The motion blocks are disabled for the backdrop.
Searching for a backdrop
To choose a backdrop from the CreatiCode library, click on the green image button which says “choose a backdrop.”
You can add as many backdrops as you need.
Backdrop groups/categories
There are various categories of backdrops in the library to choose from.
Painting/ Creating a Backdrop
To create/draw a backdrop of your own, go to the green image button and select the option “Paint”.
There are several tools which you can use to draw, create shapes, type text and add colors to your backdrop.
Importing a backdrop
You can also import an image from your computer/ device as a backdrop by clicking on the “upload a backdrop” option.
Removing a backdrop
You have to click the trash bin on the backdrop’s icon in order to remove or delete the backdrop.
