      Prerequisite

      • Adding Boxes

      Introduction

A rectangle tube is a tube with 4 side faces, so it looks like a rectangle frame from the top:

The rectangle tube can be very handy in creating frames or walls. Although you can create a similar shape by composing 4 thin boxes together, it is much easier to create it using this one block:

      Let’s go through the parameters:

      Color Selection

This input is fairly standard, so we will skip it here.

Size in X and Y Directions and Height in Z Direction

These 3 numbers work in the same way as the X/Y/Z sizes of a box.

      Cap Type

Similar to tubes, you can control whether the top and bottom of the rectangle tube are covered up or open:

Note that even with both top and bottom caps, the inside of the rectangle tube is still empty.

      Sides

You can use less than 4 sides for the rectangle tube as well. You can even show 0 sides, but choose to show the top or bottom cap.

      Name

The last input is the name of the object. If it is left blank, a random ID will be assigned.
