<h2><a class="anchor-offset" name="description"></a>Description</h2>
<p dir="auto">The “Turn &lt;left/ right&gt; () degrees around (sprite) in () seconds” is a stack block in the Motion category.</p>

<h2><a class="anchor-offset" name="how-does-this-block-work"></a>How does this block work?</h2>
<p dir="auto">This block <strong>turns the current sprite around another sprite</strong>.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="https://cdncreaticodecom.b-cdn.net/scratch-gui-projects/forum/8fce7ace-3acc-4b2b-b90f-f85593e28b24.PNG" width="400" /></p>
<p dir="auto"> </p>
<h3><a class="anchor-offset" name="direction"></a>Direction</h3>
<p dir="auto">You can select to turn the sprite right or left. When you turn the sprite right, it will turn clockwise around the other sprite; turning right is the opposite direction. Note that the sprite not only changes position, but also rotates at the same time.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="https://cdncreaticodecom.b-cdn.net/scratch-gui-projects/forum/72c4d7cf-9735-4d20-89f0-451e574a59f1.gif" width="900" /></p>
<p dir="auto"> </p>
<h3><a class="anchor-offset" name="degrees"></a>Degrees</h3>
<p dir="auto">This parameter controls how much the sprite turns. For example, 360 degrees will make the sprite turn a full circle and get back to the same position. Note that the degree number can be more than 360. For example, 720 degrees will make the sprite turn around 2 times.</p>

<p dir="auto"> </p>
<h3><a class="anchor-offset" name="target-sprite"></a>Target Sprite</h3>
<p dir="auto">You need to select the target sprite to use as the turn center. There has to be at least one other sprite in this project for you to choose from.</p>
<p dir="auto"> </p>
<h3><a class="anchor-offset" name="duration"></a>Duration</h3>
<p dir="auto">The last input controls how much time it takes for the sprite to complete the turn. The longer the duration, the slower the sprite will turn.</p>
