<![CDATA[Remote edit intermittency]]>Hey Folks, my students are now able to remotely edit. One student creates the project, then the other requests to edit and the first student accepts. All that works. But, today, there is real intermittency in the connection. I was watching two students side by side (using Windows 11 laptops running Chrome) and the remote student appeared to remain connected, but the student who shared the project kept getting disconnected (on and off and on and off). I was watching the connection indicator on the main project computer flash on and off.

We reloaded pages on both machines and tried to reconnect and were successful, but when the remote student tried to drag a block in to the coding area, he couldn’t.

Earlier, the students reported to me that they lost the connection several times and that some of the code they wrote was lost as well.

Not sure what to do at this point. Going back to Scratch until you get back to me.

There was an earlier outage for our server, so the issues you had are most likely due to that. We are sorry about that.

Can you please have your students try again? If the problem continues to occur, please let us know the range of time when that happened and we will look into the server log to find out more about the issue.

We are confident that this solution will definitely work after some tuning.
