So I am currently using a Right-to-Left character to make my name invisible. Is this normal and should it be on the platform in the first place?

Tons of invisible or no-width Unicode characters exist, it’s just some sites ban them for use in names. This isn’t a bug it’s an observation, but a cool one tho
